What is SimPE?

SimPE is an acronym for Simple Package Editor.

SimPE is a tool to manipulate files of the game "The Sims 2" (and its expansion packs). Usually those files are called "packages", thus the name.

Using this application you are able to do various tasks in this context, for example:

• creation of objects
• creation of clothes, hair and accessories
• editing of SimAntics-scripts
• editing of Sims character traits
• editing of Sim-relationships
  

and lots more.

SimPE is not a toy or a game but a complex tool, so beginners are usually overwhelmed by the user interface and the possibilities.
