A "clean install" is an installation that does not run the risk to get unpredictable results or problems caused by old files or file leftovers. If you don't do a "clean installation" you can get problems by possibly remaining chache-files.

How to do a "clean install"?

If you did install SimPE using the installer:
  • Uninstall SimPe form the Software Tab in your Control panel
  • Open the Windows Explorer and switch to the SimPE installation Folder
  • Delete the complete SimPe Folder. (If you cannot delete the Folder, you might want to restart Windows).
  • Reinstall SimPe with the SimPe-Setup.exe.
If you downloaded a 7zip (7z) archive just delete the folder to which SimPE was unpacked to.
