CRES
Resource Node. Is the root of the ->Scenegraph Chain, where different links to scenegraphic resources are specified

Toolpackage from Nvidia. Makes it possible to import textures or ->mipmaps.
GMDC
Geometric Data Container. ->Package-internal resouce containing the objects ->mesh and other informations
GMND
Geometric Node. ->Package-internal resource, Holds the information if color variants (->recolors) do exist (and other information)
GUI
Graphical User Interface, interface to operate an application, consisting for example of windows, buttons and menus
GUID
An ID number. Every object in Sims 2 must have a worldwide unique GUID.
Joint
The skeleton of Sims or object consists of joints. You have to allocate an accessory to a joint and you need them for animations.
low poly
very few ->polygons. In games you usually try to create ->meshes with as few polygons as possible.
